Get your book noticed

Promotion

Unfortunately, publishing your book physically and online won't sell it. You must market it. Hundreds of books are published every day, and the only way to get yours noticed is to put it in front of a lot of readers.

Some of the following services are included in our Packages.

The pricing below is for al-a carte services.

The Launch

Your book launch — a bestseller day one

Part of our package to you is a Book Launch. Although you personally perform it, we provide not only the physical books to sell, but we work behind the scenes to make your eBook version get to #1 online. Once you get into the top 10 of any category, you can officially call yourself a bestselling author.

On the day of launch, most of the people you invite — friends, business associates, family — will buy a copy. We usually suggest a price of $20 (which should correspond to the online paperback price). If you get forty people to attend and they all purchase a book, then you make $800 for the event. More info on how to do this is in the Services section.

Book Launch — $485

Includes behind-the-scenes support to push your eBook to #1 online on launch day.

Book Fairs

Meeting readers in person

Attending local book fairs, or setting up a table at a local bookstore or library, are ideal ways to sell more physical books, and it usually only means selling three or four books to cover the cost of being a vendor. That said, book fairs are traditionally not well attended by actual buyers, so don't plan on selling more than a handful during a typical 4–5 hour event.

We provide signs and other promotional material (that is yours to keep for the next fair). We also provide copies of your book at cost (usually around $5.50 each). We suggest you sell them for $20 per copy. Usually, sales cover costs at bookfairs.

Book Fair package — $425 plus shipping

Includes a 24×36″ sign, sign stand, book stands, and table cover.

A+ Content

Make your Amazon sales page sell harder

Each book's sales page on Amazon allows for additional sales modules. Pictures, reviews, additional info, and more can be added to the bottom of your sales page, giving the reader more information to make their decision on.

A+ Content turns a standard listing into a professional storefront that builds trust, showcases your book's value, and helps convert browsers into buyers.

A+ Content — $99

Professional Amazon sales modules added to your book's listing.

Online

Where most of your sales will happen

This is where the majority of your sales will take place — but only if you promote your book. Hundreds of new books are published around the world every day, and yours is competing with all of them.

Putting your book on Amazon and doing nothing to get readers to see it is like fishing. You bait the hook (the book) and throw it in the lake (Amazon) and wait for a bite. But the fish have the choice of biting the hooks of hundreds of fishermen around the lake. Why pick yours? Because they heard from their friends that your bait was really good, or they saw an ad telling them it was really good. A dumb analogy — but you get the idea.

At Sunao Publishing, we understand how to promote books of all genres, fiction and non-fiction, and most of our authors' books become bestsellers within a couple of days of launch. We promote on all the popular websites and subscription services.

Disclaimer: Initially, the cost isn't covered by sales. It takes time and persistence to achieve success. As long as you manage your expectations, you will begin selling books regularly — but it takes time, and you need a backlist (more than one book) to gain traction online.

A tailored plan

For online promotion, we generate a PLAN showing what we suggest to promote your book — including the cost of advertising, the timeline, and the anticipated outcome. You decide how much you want to spend, and we do all the work: designing the ads, uploading them, monitoring them, and advising you when to increase, change, or stop promoting in certain ways.

Simple pricing

We charge a flat 10% fee on whatever you spend on advertising. We don't charge for our creation or uploading work — we take our cut from each ad placement.

No one else does it this way, but we know you'll get discouraged if it isn't done affordably, at least initially.

Ask the Publisher

If you'd like more details about promotion, don't hesitate to contact the publisher.
